  • Lead a school team of over a dozen kids to win:

    • 1st place in teams in NY State Girls two years in a row (2022, 2023)

    • 2nd at All Girls Nationals (2024)

About Me

Hi! My name is Jenny Zhu, and I am a senior at the Brearley School. I started playing chess when I was 8 years old and am currently ranked 4th for female chess players aged 17 nationwide in the US. I have played at the state level, nationally, and internationally—and against the chess hustlers in Washington Square Park and Union Square!

Computer Science and Robotics
